All Korean applicants applying for visa are required to receive a special permit ˇ°permission to visitˇ± from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Republic of Korea
General Requirements
- Completed Visa Application Form
- Two passport size photos taken within the past three months
- Passport with minimum six month validity
- A letter of introduction/visa note from employer or sponsor stating the purpose and duration of trip
Visa Processing Fee
- Entry Visa ( Work Permit Owners) : USD $30
- Entry Visa ( Non-work permit travelers ) : USD $100
- Entry Visa ( Single entry for 1 year ) : USD $20/month
- Transit Visa : USD $30 (Single entry) / USD $60 (Double entry)
- Tourist Visa : USD $50)
- Multiple Entry Visa : 3 months USD $90
: 6 months USD $ 180
: 1 Year USD $360
- Visa validity is for 1~3 months upon reques
- Multiple visas will only be issued in necessary cases
- All Visas can be extended in Afghanistan
Visa Extension
- Entry and Tourist Visa (Ordinary and Business Passports) : Ministry of Interior, Afghanistan
- Diplomatic and Official Visa (Diplomatic & Service Passports) : Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Afghanistan
IMPORTANT NOTICE
All travelers are advised to extend duration of their stay before the expiration date of their visa. Otherwise, in case of overstaying
without extension of visa, they will be charged $2/day for the first month and the charges will increase to $5/day after the period
of 1 month. In case of 3 months overstay without extension of visa, the violators will be departed from Afghanistan in addition of
paying overstay charges.
